In our school, we play camogie, hurling, football and handball. We are proud of our links with our local clubs and CLG Ceatharlach.
Our girls and boys proudly take part in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol competitions. We had a great start to the season this year, and our girls were thrilled to get to the football semi-finals but they were beaten by a stronger team on the day. Our boys were knocked out in the preliminary rounds, unfortunately. Well done everyone for a valiant effort. We thank Ms Donnelly and Mr Dalton, for coaching our teams and giving so freely of their time. We are already looking forward to the next event.
Last year Brendan came to our school for several weeks to coach the children in the various classes. It is also a chance for some of our past pupils in Transition Year to work with Brendan and get hands-on experience so they can earn their coaching certificates.
